Major march in the capital, Sana’a, to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Zaid

This afternoon, the capital, Sana’a, witnessed a major mass march to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Zaid, peace be upon him, under the slogan “Insight and Jihad”.

The mass crowds raised slogans and banners emphasizing the continuation of steadfastness, sacrifice, and proceeding with the approach of Imam Zaid – peace be upon him – and his revolution in the face of the forces of the American-Saudi-Emirati aggression, and their crimes against the Yemeni people and the plundering of their wealth.

The crowds affirmed the imitation of Imam Zaid bin Ali, peace be upon them both, and the adherence to the principles and values for which he sacrificed in order to support truth and religion, correct the reality of the nation, defend the oppressed and fight the oppressors and tyrants.

The participants considered the commemoration of the martyrdom of Imam Zaid as a mobilizing faith station for the nation to strengthen the unity of the ranks, and to stand up to the tyrants of the age and the arrogant, regardless of the sacrifices.

They pointed out that the ally of the Qur’an, Imam Zaid, peace be upon him, carried the banner of truth – in a time of silence – against injustice and falsehood, and embodied in his revolution the meanings of jihad, sacrifice, and movement for the sake of God.

They stressed that the Yemeni people are continuing their revolution against the forces of tyranny and arrogance and the enemies of the nation, religion and its sanctities, following the example of Imam Zaid and his revolution against tyrants and oppressors.
