Ansarollah spokesman offers condolences to the Moroccan people for the victims of the earthquake

Today, Saturday, the official spokesman for Ansarollah, Muhammad Abdel Salam, offered his sincere condolences and sympathy to the Moroccan people and the families of the victims of the earthquake that struck Al Haouz province, southwest of Marrakesh in Morocco, asking God Almighty for a speedy recovery for the wounded.

Moroccan television announced that the number of victims of the earthquake had risen to 822 deaths and 672 injured.

A 7-magnitude earthquake shook several Moroccan cities, Friday evening, media agencies indicated that several earthquakes hit a number of Moroccan cities.

Also, a brief statement from the National Institute of Geophysics stated that the magnitude of the earthquake reached 7 degrees, and that it occurred around 11 pm on Friday evening.

It also confirmed that the epicenter of the earthquake was in Al Haouz province, southwest of Marrakesh, at a depth of 8 kilometers.

Rabat-based National Center for Scientific and Technical Research stated that the magnitude of the earthquake reached 7 degrees on the Richter scale, while the head of the Moroccan National Institute of Geophysics said that the earthquake that struck southwest of Marrakesh was the most violent in a century.
