Al_Senwar: During the ground war, Al-Qassam targeted at least 5,000 soldiers and officers

The head of Hamas movement in Gaza Strip, Yahya Al-Senwar, said that the Martyr Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades are waging a fierce, violent and unprecedented battle against the Israeli enemy forces, stressing that “the occupation army has suffered heavy losses in lives and equipment.”
Al-Senwar explained that, during the ground war, Qassam Brigades targeted at least 5,000 soldiers and officers, a third of whom were killed, another third seriously injured, and the last third permanently disabled.
These statements by Senwar were contained in a lengthy letter he sent to the head and members of the movement’s political bureau in Gaza Strip and abroad, during the last two days.
Al-Senwar added in his message, speaking about the achievements of Al-Qassam Brigades and the occupation’s losses: “As for military vehicles, 750 of them were destroyed, either completely or partially.”
Al-Senwar said that in his message, Al-Qassam Brigades “destroyed” the occupation army, “and is continuing on its path to crushing it, and that it will not submit to the conditions of the occupation.
