Bin Habtoor: US Supporting Zionist Enemy in Gaza, Escalating War from Regional to Global
Yemen’s Prime Minister Abdulaziz bin Habtoor emphasized that the Zionist aggression against the Gaza Strip has exposed the hypocrisy of Arab nations, revealing the falsehood of their claims regarding human rights and international humanitarian law.
In his speech during a symposium organized by the Ministry of Human Rights in Sana’a on Sunday, he stated that by supporting the Zionist enemy in its attacks on Gaza, the United States and NATO have transformed the conflict from regional to global.
Bin Habtoor also held the official Arab regimes accountable for the loss of Palestine’s cause from the daily agenda of the Arab world, accusing them of taking deliberate steps to undermine the Palestinian issue.
Meanwhile, Minister of Human Rights Ali al-Dailami criticized the US administration’s definition of terrorism, suggesting that it allows the targeting of anything that contradicts American imperialistic and criminal policies worldwide.
Al-Dailami highlighted President Biden’s request to Congress for a $14 billion military aid package for Israel following the Al-Aqsa Storm Operation, describing it as part of America’s support for Zionist eradication of the Palestinian people.
He further asserted that the American designation of Ansar Allah as “terrorests” is aimed at bolstering Israel’s actions and suppressing legitimate resistance movements.
Al-Dailami reassured that the Ministry of Human Rights is actively engaged in addressing the plight of the Palestinian people through legal and humanitarian means, seeking support from the international community to halt Zionist crimes and hold Israel accountable.
Israel waged a bloody war on the besieged Gaza Strip on October 7 following a historic operation by the Palestinian Hamas resistance group against the occupying entity.
The US has offered untrammeled support for Israel during the onslaught that has so far killed over 29,692 Palestinians, mostly women and children.
In solidarity with the Palestinians in Gaza, the Yemeni Armed Forces have targeted ships in the Red Sea with owners linked to Israel or those going to and from ports in the occupied territories.
In response, the US has formed a military coalition against Yemeni forces in the Red Sea and endangered maritime navigation in the strategic waterway.
