Yemen’s Leader Calls for Peace and an End to Aggression on Yemen
Yemen marks nine years of war
Sayyid Abdulmalik Badreddin Al-Houthi, the leader of the revolution, has called on Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates to transition from a state of de-escalation to fulfilling the requirements of peace if they truly desire it. He emphasized that peace is the real and actual interest of everyone.
This statement was made by Sayyid Al-Houthi on Monday, marking nine years since the US-backed Saudi-led aggression on Yemen. He clarified that serious steps according to a clear agreement include what we have been affirming in talks and negotiations throughout all past stages. He confirmed that the requirements of peace are the complete end of the siege, aggression, occupation, exchange of prisoners, and compensation for damages.
“We are very keen on understanding and peace with all Arab and Islamic countries, on brotherhood, and on positive relations. He stated that we do not have a hostile approach towards any Arab country or any Arab or Islamic state. We are now in a clear and direct confrontation between us and the evil trio of America, Israel, and Britain,” Sayyid Al-Houthi affirmed.
He confirmed that there is no justification for the Saudi and Emirati to continue their clear procrastination from the requirements of peace in the current stage. He urged the Saudi and Emirati to transition from the stage of de-escalation to an actual and clear peace if they truly want it, emphasizing that peace is the real and actual interest of everyone.
In conclusion, Sayyid Al-Houthi thanked and appreciated everyone who stood with our country during all these years, especially the Islamic Republic of Iran and Hezbollah. He explained that the Islamic Republic of Iran has shown clear and explicit solidarity with our country, and the brothers in Hezbollah in Lebanon have had a supportive, sympathetic, and cooperative stance with our country and faced many problems as a result.
Sayyid Abdulmalik Badreddin Al-Houthi also thanked our brothers in Iraq and all the free people in the world from our nation who stood and sympathized with our people in their oppression and ordeal.
