The official spokesperson for Ansar Allah, Mohammed Abdul Salam, strongly condemned the Israeli aggression. He characterized the attack on the Iranian consulate as a desperate attempt to portray a false image of victory. Furthermore, Abdul Salam emphasized that this act constitutes a blatant violation of Syrian sovereignty and an outright aggression against two brotherly nations known for their unwavering support for Palestine.
The Ansar Allah spokesperson expressed condolences to the families of the martyrs, praying for their souls to find mercy and forgiveness.
The Fallen Leaders
Earlier, the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) confirmed the martyrdom of two high-ranking generals: Major General Mohammad Reza Zahedi and Major General Mohammad Hadi Hajizadeh. Alongside them, five other officers and advisors lost their lives in the terrorist attack carried out by the Zionist regime on the Iranian consulate in Damascus.
