Since yesterday evening, Wednesday, until Thursday morning, Israeli enemy forces arrested at least 15 Palestinians from the occupied West Bank, including a woman from Ramallah who was arrested as a hostage in addition to former prisoners.
The arrest operations were among the governorates of Ramallah, Bethlehem, Nablus, Hebron, Tulkarm, and Jerusalem according to a joint statement issued by the Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners’ Affairs Authority and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club.
The arrests were accompanied by widespread raids and harassment, in addition to widespread sabotage and destruction of Palestinian homes.
Thus, the total number of arrests since the start of “Al-Aqsa Flood” battle on October 7, 2023, rises to about 8,550, and this total includes those who were arrested from homes, through military checkpoints, those who were forced to surrender themselves under pressure, and those who were held hostage.
The Zionist enemy forces continue to implement systematic arrest campaigns as one of the most prominent established policies, which escalated in an unprecedented manner after October 7, not only in terms of the level of the number of detainees, but also in terms of the level of crimes committed.
It is noteworthy that the data related to arrest cases includes those whom the Zionist enemy kept in detention, and those who were later released.
