Health in Gaza: The Israeli enemy is committing genocide against the sick and wounded by closing the crossings

The Palestinian Ministry of Health confirmed that the Israeli enemy is committing a new genocide by closing the crossings and preventing entry and exit from them, especially the travel of the wounded and sick, and the entry of aid, medicines, medical supplies, food trucks, and fuel needed to operate hospitals.

The Ministry added in a statement today, Thursday, that every hour some of the wounded from previous inspections who were waiting to travel to neighboring countries go missing due to the Israeli enemy’s control of the crossing and its closure, which prevented these wounded from traveling.

The ministry indicated that the only dialysis center in Rafah governorate stopped working due to the bombing and the threat of the Israeli enemy, adding that the wounded and sick are suffering a slow death due to the lack of treatment and supplies at a time when they are unable to travel.

The ministry indicated that it has lists that were sent to neighboring countries, including lists of wounded and patients of all age groups, especially patients with tumors, liver transplants, and kidney transplants, and they were unable to travel due to the closure of the crossing by the Israeli enemy.

It launched an urgent and humanitarian appeal for pressure and urgent action to save the lives of these sick and wounded, open the crossings, and allow the necessary medical and relief trucks to enter the hospitals.
