Raed Jabal: We did not seize Yemenia’s aircraft, but rather we rearranged the company’s situation

The Undersecretary of the General Authority for Civil Aviation, Raed Jabal, confirmed today, Sunday, that what Sanaa did was not to detain the Yemeni Airlines’ aircraft, but rather to rearrange the company’s situation as a result of many imbalances carried out by the aggression coalition through its mercenaries.

Raed Jabal explained in a statement to Al-Masirah that among the imbalances carried out by the aggression coalition and its mercenaries was discrimination in ticket prices between Sanaa and Aden, stopping operations towards the Cairo and India destinations, and placing obstacles towards the only destination of Amman, in addition to stopping sales through travel agencies and offices in the Republic of Yemen.

He reiterated that Sana’a’s demands are clear, namely that the decision to establish the Yemeni Airlines Company and its protocol be implemented and that it be returned to its main headquarters in Sana’a so that all citizens can benefit from it without discrimination.

The Undersecretary of the General Authority for Civil Aviation, Raed Jabal, held the aggression coalition responsible for the consequences of its decision to ban flights to Sana’a and its repercussions on those stranded outside Yemen, pointing out that the aggression coalition is trying to blackmail by linking the issue of pilgrims to the Sana’a airport file, and our procedures have nothing to do with the pilgrims.

The Ministry of Transport in the caretaker government had confirmed in a previous statement that its efforts were continuing within the framework of the necessary corrective measures to rearrange the situation of Yemen Airways Company, the national carrier of the Republic of Yemen, in accordance with what was stipulated in the protocol establishing the company.
