The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the Israeli enemy committed 3 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, including 54 martyrs and 95 injuries to hospitals during the past 24 hours.

The Ministry confirmed in its daily update that the toll of the Israeli aggression had risen to 38,848 martyrs and 89,459 injuries since the seventh of last October.

It said: There are still a number of victims under the rubble and on the roads, and ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach them.

For its part, the International Committee of the Red Cross warned that all health facilities in the southern Gaza Strip have reached a “breaking point,” due to the Israeli bombing, which is claiming the lives of a large number of victims.

The director of the sub-delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Gaza, William Schomburg, said in a statement today: “The large number of casualties resulting from the Zionist aggression has caused our hospital and all health facilities in southern Gaza to reach the breaking point, and to be unable to treat those suffering life-threatening injuries.”

He stated that the field hospital affiliated with the international organization includes 60 beds in Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, according to what was reported by Agence France-Presse.

The committee explained that the Israeli enemy’s bombing of Al-Mawasi area, last Saturday, led to the arrival of 26 wounded people to the facility, including children who were injured by shrapnel.

The committee added that any other military action that causes such a large number of casualties “will force our doctors and nurses to make very difficult choices,” explaining that the current medical needs of civilians “far exceed the limited available capabilities” .

Hospitals were forced to close several times due to enemy army bombing.

For his part, Mr. Pankaj Galdial said, “It is unimaginable how many patients needed resuscitation after the influx of infected people on Saturday.”

In addition to the 26 wounded who were transferred from Al-Mawasi to the Red Cross field hospital for treatment, the facility received an additional 850 people in the outpatient department last week, approximately half of whom were women and a third of whom were children.

The organization confirmed that “most patients have been displaced from their homes several times and live with small amounts of food and drinking water in crowded areas, which makes them more vulnerable to disease,” noting that its team has provided 12,000 medical consultations and more than 500 operations since the opening of the facility in May.

The statement explained that 80% of the surgeries performed were related to injuries directly related to the armed conflict.
