Armed Forces Target Ship (Contship Ono) and Two American Destroyers (Cole, Laboon) in the Red Sea

The Yemeni Armed Forces carried out qualitative military operations today, Wednesday, during which they were able to target a commercial ship linked to the Israeli enemy and two American destroyers in the Red Sea.

The Armed Forces confirmed in a statement that the missile force, the air force, and the naval forces carried out – with the help of God Almighty – a joint military operation targeting the ship (Contship Ono) in the Red Sea with a number of ballistic missiles and drones, adding that the hit was accurate, thanks be to God.

It explained that the ship was targeted due to the violation of the company that owns it of the decision to ban entry to the ports of occupied Palestine, adding that the military operations come within the framework of victory for the injustice of the Palestinian people and their defenders and the response to the American-British aggression against our country.

Two American warships The armed forces also announced that the Air Force carried out a qualitative military operation targeting the American destroyer “Cole” in the Gulf of Aden with a number of drones, adding that the operation achieved its goal successfully.

The Yemeni Armed Forces confirmed that the naval forces carried out a qualitative military operation targeting the American destroyer “Laboon” with a number of ballistic missiles.

They explained that the targeting of the two American destroyers came while they were crossing the Yemeni Armed Forces’ operations area towards the northern Red Sea within the framework of providing American military protection to the Israeli enemy, stressing that the results of the operations included the failure of the destroyers to fully confront the missiles and drones and the success of a number of drones and missiles in achieving their goals, thanks be to God.

The Yemeni Armed Forces reiterated that all American military movements in the naval operations area in support of the Israeli enemy are considered hostile movements and will not hesitate, with the help of God Almighty, to target those movements with all available means.

The Yemeni Armed Forces called on all the peoples of our Arab and Islamic nation to stand up for Palestine, Gaza and the martyr leader Ismail Haniyeh, by taking practical action to reject the American military movements and reject all forms of support for the Israeli enemy.

The Yemeni Armed Forces also confirmed that their operations within the battle of the promised conquest and the holy jihad will continue until the aggression stops and the siege on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip is lifted.

Targeting 170 ships and 49 naval vessels during the period between November 2023 and last July

The Yemeni Armed Forces targeted 170 ships linked to the Israeli enemy, and among the targeted ships were 41 ships belonging to the Israeli enemy, 7 of which were targeted in the Indian Ocean, 6 in the Arabian Sea, 8 in the Gulf of Aden, 18 in the Red Sea and 2 in the Mediterranean.

The Armed Forces also targeted 72 American ships, 47 of which were targeted in the Red Sea, 19 in the Gulf of Aden, 4 in the Arabian Sea, and 2 in the Indian Ocean.

As for the British ships targeted, they amounted to 12 British, 7 of which were targeted in the Red Sea, 4 in the Gulf of Aden, and one in the Indian Ocean.

With regard to the ships violating the decision to ban ships from reaching the ports of occupied Palestine, the Yemeni armed forces targeted 45 ships, including 22 ships in the Red Sea, 8 in the Arabian and Gulf of Aden, 2 in the Indian Ocean, and 13 in the Mediterranean.

The ships were distributed among 44 container ships, 36 bulk cargo ships, 28 oil and chemical tankers, and 13 general cargo ships.

In the same context, the military units targeted in the operations of the armed forces amounted to 49 military cargo ships, frigates, warships, and aircraft carriers.
