The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced the martyrdom of 1640 citizens, including 104 children and 194 women, since October 8.

According to the National News Agency, the Minister of Public Health in the caretaker government, Firas Al-Abyad, presented in a press conference held this afternoon, Saturday, a detailed tally of the martyrs and wounded from the Israeli attacks, in which he discussed the services provided to the displaced after their numbers increased, following the intensive raids on the southern suburb.

He explained that the number of wounded reached 8408, and there are a number of martyrs still under the rubble, in addition to missing persons and body parts, noting that 41 health and ambulance workers have been martyred since October 8, in addition to 111 others being injured with various injuries.
