Spanish Foreign Ministry: We do not sell weapons to “Israel” and ships carrying them are not allowed to pass

Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares confirmed that his country does not sell weapons to the Israeli enemy, and that ships carrying weapons heading to the occupied territories are not allowed to dock in Spanish ports.
Albares said in statements today, Friday, that “no new licenses have been issued to export weapons to Israel since October 2023,” explaining: “We continue to ensure that there are no sales.. We do not sell weapons to Israel, and the Middle East does not need weapons, but peace.”
On the other hand, Albares confirmed that there is no alternative to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), stressing that it is a stabilizing factor in providing humanitarian aid to two million Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
UNRWA is subjected to continuous Israeli attacks and accusations that it supports the Palestinian resistance. On November 4, the Israeli enemy authorities announced that they had officially informed the United Nations that they had cancelled the agreement concluded with the UN agency, which allows the latter to provide support and work in Palestine.
Earlier, the Spanish minister confirmed that the government would implement the arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court against the entity’s “Prime Minister” Benjamin Netanyahu and his dismissed “Army Minister” Yoav Galant, if they entered the country.
