The Moroccan Committee for Supporting the Causes of the Nation announced that it organized more than 115 demonstrations in several cities in solidarity with Gaza against the ongoing Israeli extermination in the Strip.
The committee stated, in a statement, that “the Moroccan people went out in more than 115 demonstrations in 56 Moroccan cities in response to the committee’s call within the framework of the 61st Al-Aqsa Flood Friday.”
The protesters expressed, according to the statement, “their strong condemnation of the Israeli massacres committed against civilians in Gaza, the West Bank and all of Palestine, and their denunciation of the ongoing war of extermination in the northern Gaza Strip and the accompanying starvation, killing and systematic displacement.”
The statement pointed out that the participants “demanded international institutions to exert pressure to stop the war and enable the Palestinian people to obtain their just and legitimate rights.”
Among the cities that witnessed demonstrations were Al Hoceima, Tetouan, Tangier, Casablanca, Berkane, Taza, Ait Melloul, Inzegane and Agadir.
With American support, Israel has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, leaving more than 150,000 martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 11,000 missing.
