23 Zionist raids target radar sites in Syria

Syrian sources revealed, today, Saturday, that the Zionist enemy carried out 23 raids on 12 of the most important radar sites in the country.

The sources said in an interview with the Iraqi “Al-Maalouma” agency: “The Zionist entity carried out 23 raids during the past hours on 12 of the most important radar sites in Syria in Mount Qasioun in addition to other areas and destroyed them with heavy missiles that caused large explosions.”

The sources added: “All the sites were deployed by Al-Jolani Brigades, which withdrew from them minutes before the raids were carried out, indicating the existence of direct coordination with the Zionist enemy.”

They stressed that the radars are for civilian uses by supporting air navigation and monitoring any unknown aircraft in the airspace, and destroying them means taking away the ability to detect any flying objects in the airspace in general.

Theu pointed out that “the entity is carrying out a process of stripping Syria of its ability to defend itself against any external aggression amidst direct international silence.”

It is worth noting that the Zionist enemy has carried out more than 350 raids on dozens of military and research targets in Syria in the past few days.
