In a scene that reflects the systematic oppression of political detainees in Jaw Prison in Bahrain, one of the detainees revealed that they are subjected to severe restrictions that deprive them of their basic rights.
According to reports, detainees are forced to remain in the cells all day, with only 20 minutes to leave, while they are shackled, which shows harsh treatment that contradicts official statements claiming to improve prison conditions.
The detainee confirmed that when they leave the cells, this is done under a state of heightened security alert in an atmosphere that lacks any respect for their human dignity.
He pointed out that they are treated in humiliating ways by the building police, as part of a policy aimed at breaking their will and punishing them psychologically and physically.
