Abdulsalam salutes legendary, historical steadfastness of Gaza
Mohammed Abdulsalam, head of the National Delegation and spokesperson for Ansarullah, paid tribute to the legendary and historic resilience of Gaza in confronting one of the most brutal and fierce Israeli aggressions targeting the oppressed Palestinian people.
In a statement on Wednesday, Abdulsalam affirmed that the Palestinian cause remains Yemen’s primary cause, emphasizing that true peace in the region can only be achieved with the removal of the Zionist entity, which was forcibly imposed with Western and American support at the expense of the Palestinian people and the region’s nations.
Abdulsalam expressed gratitude for Yemen’s ability to take responsibility in supporting Gaza through massive weekly demonstrations and effective military operations, from the onset of the Al-Aqsa Flood operation until the announcement of the ceasefire in Gaza.
“Despite the ongoing siege on our country and the wounds inflicted on our people from years of aggression and economic hardships, these challenges have not weakened our resolve. Instead, they have strengthened our commitment to supporting Gaza, a religious and humanitarian responsibility for which the entire Ummah is accountable,” he said.
Abdulsalam added that Yemen’s stance in supporting Gaza was not born out of surplus strength or a show of power but rather from a difficult reality. He noted that the Israeli atrocities against Gaza left no choice for Yemen, driven by its deeply rooted faith, but to stand in solidarity and take responsibility for the oppressed Palestinian people facing genocide before the eyes of the world.
He affirmed that, with the ceasefire in Gaza now in place, the Palestinian cause remains and will always be the foremost issue that demands the collective responsibility of the Ummah. He described the Zionist entity as a persistent threat to regional security and stability, asserting that no genuine peace can prevail in the region until this foreign entity, forcibly planted through Western and American support, is eradicated.
Abdulsalam praised Gaza’s heroic and historic resilience in confronting the fiercest Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people. He also lauded the immense sacrifices of the Palestinian resistance in Gaza, including the martyrdom of prominent leaders such as Commander Ismail Haniyeh and Commander Yahya Al-Sinwar, who, despite their loss, continued their steadfast fight until forcing the enemy to agree to a ceasefire.
He extended his salutations to all fronts supporting Gaza, particularly the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, which demonstrated remarkable courage, sacrifice, and dedication, culminating in the supreme sacrifice of the great leader, Martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.
Abdulsalam also acknowledged the significant and active role played by the Islamic Resistance in Iraq in supporting the cause.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Qatari Foreign Minister announced the conclusion of a ceasefire agreement in Gaza, leading to the cessation of aggression and the withdrawal of Zionist forces from the besieged Gaza Strip.
