Hamas Official: Gaza Is Not for Sale, We Appreciate Yemen’s Firm Stance

Senior Hamas leader Ismail Radwan expressed appreciation for Yemen’s stance in supporting the Palestinian people, particularly that of Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi who emphasized that Yemenis remain ready to respond if the Zionist entity reneges on the ceasefire agreement in Gaza.

Radwan also acknowledged the support of all those who reject aggression and oppose displacement, highlighting Yemen’s firm position. He stated, “You, the people of Yemen, have stood by and supported our Palestinian people.”

“We also appreciate the stance of leader Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, who sent a clear message that if aggression against Gaza resumes, Yemen’s hand will remain on the trigger,” he added.

He emphasized that Yemen’s position reflects its strength and strategic commitment to the Palestinian cause, sending a clear message of solidarity with the Palestinian resistance in Gaza.

Radwan urged Arab and Islamic nations to translate their support into concrete actions—not just rejecting displacement but taking firm steps to oppose it. He stressed the need for rebuilding Gaza and ensuring the entry of essential supplies for the Palestinian people.

Israeli Enemy Procrastinating in Fulfilling Agreement Terms

The Hamas leader accused the Zionist occupation of deliberately delaying and evading its obligations under the ceasefire agreement. He called on mediators to pressure Israel into honoring its commitments, stating, “We are determined to fulfill what eases the burden on our Palestinian people.”

Radwan also urged Arab and Islamic nations to take a strong stance against US President Donald Trump’s proposal to displace Palestinians from Gaza or assert control over the territory. “We want condemnations to turn into concrete actions, including the rebuilding of Gaza through Arab and Islamic efforts,” he said.

Radwan called for the immediate entry of medical and relief supplies into Gaza to support the resilience of the Palestinian people and thwart Trump’s alleged plans.

He firmly stated that “Gaza is not for sale or purchase, and no one has the right to remove us from this land. It is our rightful, legal, historical, and political possession.”

Radwan criticized the Israeli government’s obstruction of essential humanitarian aid, including mobile homes, tents, medical supplies, and basic necessities. He noted that in response, the Palestinian resistance threatened to suspend the release of Israeli soldiers held in captivity.

He affirmed Hamas’ full commitment to the ceasefire agreement, stating, “Today, a delegation from the movement has headed to Cairo to meet with Egyptian officials and follow up on the implementation of the ceasefire agreement in its first phase.”

He reiterated the movement’s commitment to completing the ceasefire process and ensuring Israel adheres to the humanitarian provisions of the agreement. He expressed hope for a positive outcome moving forward.

Despite the ceasefire agreement, Israel continues to restrict the entry of essential aid into Gaza, significantly delaying humanitarian relief efforts. According to the Government Media Office, the amount of aid reaching the besieged enclave remains far below the agreed-upon minimum.

Since the ceasefire took effect three weeks ago, only 8,500 aid trucks have entered Gaza—well short of the required 12,000. In northern Gaza, where humanitarian conditions are dire, only 2,916 trucks have arrived instead of the agreed 6,000.

Moreover, much of the aid consists of non-essential items like potato chips and chocolate, while critical supplies such as fuel, medical equipment, and shelter materials remain severely limited. Only 10% of the required tents have been delivered, leaving hundreds of thousands without shelter amid cold weather. Fuel deliveries also fall drastically short, with just 15 trucks entering daily instead of the agreed 50, impacting hospitals and essential services.

Israel has also blocked the entry of electric generators, solar panels, and heavy machinery needed to clear 55 million tons of debris, further worsening the humanitarian crisis. The Government Media Office has warned that Israel’s ongoing restrictions and delays are exacerbating an already catastrophic situation in Gaza.
