Al-Aqsa TV Condemns US-European Decision to Block it from All Satellites

Al-Aqsa TV strongly condemned the US-European decision to block it from all satellites on Friday, considering it a blatant attack on press freedom and a systematic suppression of the voice of the Palestinian people, who convey their suffering to the world under bombardment and siege.

Al-Aqsa TV stated: “This unjust decision is inseparable from the open war on Palestinian media, which has culminated in the cold-blooded targeting of journalists.

The enemy assassinated more than 25 journalists from the channel’s crew and completely destroyed its headquarters in the Gaza Strip, in a desperate attempt to silence the truth and obscure the enemy’s crimes.

Today, the US-European decision provides cover for this aggression and gives the enemy the green light to continue its war against the Palestinian media without accountability or oversight.

The channel affirmed that it will not be defeated by this raging war, and that the blocking decision will not be the end of the road.

Rather, it will seek every possible means to continue its media mission and convey the voice of the oppressed in Gaza, the West Bank, and Jerusalem to the world.

The channel called on all journalistic and human rights organizations to reject and condemn this decision and to confront attempts to silence the Palestinian media, which is paying the price of the truth with the blood of its sons.
