Saudi-led aggression continues to detain 16 ships at sea in the port of Hodeidah

A report issued by the naval operations “Navigational Movement Administration” in al-Hodeidah Port confirmed that the aggression warships are still holding 16 ships at sea, including 10 oils with a load capacity of 273 thousand and 330 tons of diesel and petroleum.

A gas ship of 8 thousand and 500 tons and 4 food ships carrying About 71 thousand and 173 tons of flour and corn, in addition to a commercial ship carrying 30 thousand tons of various electrical appliances.

The report indicated that the duration of the initial detention of those ships and others reached more than three months, pointing to the intentional aggression forces and mercenaries of the Aden Committee to prevent and delay the entry of ships to Hodeidah port, despite obtaining United Nations permits and fulfilling inspection procedures, to narrow the screws against citizens which increase their suffering in light of the urgent need for food and oil supplies, not to mention the economic burdens of holding them.

The report stressed the importance of the international community, including the United Nations and the European Union, being responsible for neutralizing the national economy and stopping the obstacles imposed by the aggression on various imports and goods arriving in the ports of Hodeidah, which is the only artery to supply more than twenty million Yemenis with food, medicine, and fuel.
