Interior Minister directs to hold some police station managers accountable for involving in increasing rents with landlords
Minister of Interior Maj. Gen. Abdulkarim al-Houthi has directed to hold some directors of police stations accountable for their actions in increasing rents with property owners.
The Minister of the Interior emphasized, in his directives issued on Tuesday, that collusion with real estate owners contributes to doubling harsh living conditions that afflict citizens due to the aggression and economic blockade imposed on Yemen.
He stressed the importance of activating Complaints Center calling via No. 189 to receive tenants’ complaints and resolve them quickly and hold accountable those who fail to answer to their complaints.
