President Al-Mashat: The judiciary must be fair and quick in its procedures
President Mahdi Al-Mashat, head of the Supreme Political Council, affirmed that citizens should not receive late justice.
President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, held a meeting on Saturday with discussed aspects related to the judiciary authority during the current stage.
At the meeting, Al-Mashat also discussed means and planes that needed the judiciary authority to develop the level of performance and achieve justice among the community.
During the meeting, the President Al-Mashat praised the efforts and role played by the judiciary authority in developing the judicial performance at the level of courts, prosecution offices, and all judicial control agencies despite the difficult financial conditions that the country is going through as a result of aggression and siege imposed by the Saudi-led aggression coalition countries.
The president affirmed the Supreme Political Council’s readiness to work for developing the level of judicial performance, adding: “I notice that you are making great efforts despite the problems that have accumulated from the past and we have not found time to tackle them, and the people need to see in reality an achievement.”
President Al-Mashat also stressed the keenness to have a committee concerned with reading the laws related to the lengthening of litigation, to ensure the speedy completion of cases in front of the courts for implementation of rulings.
“The judicial authority must train judicial cadres to reach the goal we want, which is a fair, fast, and fulfilling judiciary.”
Al-Mashat touched upon the financial crisis that the judiciary witnessed during the last period due to the restrictions and economic blockade imposed by the aggression on Yemen at all levels, stressing that difficulties could be turned into an opportunity to build the judiciary properly, in addition to the steadfastness and persistence of the judiciary have contributed to facing the challenges.
The head of the Supreme Political Council emphasized the importance of the role of the Higher Judicial Institute in strengthening Allah’s oversight and self-control of the judge by strengthening the spirituality of faith.
The move during his meeting with the chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Ahmed Al-Mutawakel, in the presence of the head of the Judicial Inspection Authority Judge Ahmed Al-Shahari, Attorney General Judge Nabil Al-Azzani, Minister of Justice Judge Mohammad Al-Dailami, as well as the head of the Unit Technical Judicial Council Judge Abdel Wahab Al-Mahbashi.
