Jewish Forum: UAE and Israel work to establish intelligence facilities in Socotra
The French website “Jewish Forum” has revealed that the UAE has provided a foothold for the Israeli occupation in Yemen via the strategic Yemeni island of Socotra, to establish military and intelligence facilities.
The site added that these sites will be used to monitor the movements of the Iranian navy in the area and to analyze maritime and air traffic in the southern Red Sea.
It pointed out that the establishment of “Israel” intelligence bases on the Yemeni island of Socotra in cooperation with the UAE comes within the framework of secret cooperation that has been going on for several years, and its objectives include monitoring the movements of “Ansar Allah” and controlling maritime navigation in the region.
Since 2016, Israel has begun building the largest intelligence base in the Red Sea basin of Emba Soira Mountain in Eritrea in the strategic area overlooking the Bab al-Mandab Strait, he said.
According to the website, Israel and the UAE are making all the logistical preparations to establish intelligence bases to gather information throughout the Gulf of Aden from Bab al-Mandab to the UAE-controlled island of Socotra.
