Minister of Information discusses media plan to celebrate September 21 revolution
A meeting held on Sunday in Sanaa, chaired by Minister of Information Dhaifallah al-Shami, discussed the media plan for celebrating the sixth anniversary of the September 21 Revolution (the Liberation and Independence Revolution).
The meeting reviewed the contents of the media plan to celebrate the revolution and its role in achieving liberation and independence and saving the country from external tutelage and control, and its implications on the security, economic, political, and social levels.
The Minister of Information pointed out that the September 21 revolution was characterized by its peacefulness and popularity, and non-revenge against its opponents, noting that it preserved the state apparatus and institutions, citizens’ funds and property, social fabric, security, and stability.
Al-Shami emphasized the importance of highlighting the unifying popular role in the revolution and the effectiveness of popular action.
He stressed the need for cooperation and coordination between media institutions to show the truth of this revolution and in a manner befitting its status and achievements.
