Supreme Political Council congratulates the heroes prisoners for liberation

Yemen’s Supreme Political Council congratulated the heroes from the prisoners of the army and the popular committees for liberated, their families, and all the Yemeni people for the success of the prisoner exchange process and their return to their homes and homeland in safety and peace.

In a statement, the Supreme Political Council expressed hope that this process would be a first step, followed by steps to release all prisoners on the basis of all for all, considering the prisoners’ file a primarily humanitarian file that cannot be compromised or politicized.

The council praised the successful efforts of the National Committee for Prisoners’ Affairs, expressing thanks to the UN envoy, his office, and the Red Cross for their kind efforts in this regard.

In the same context, the Supreme Political Council called on the United Nations to work hard to lift the unjust blockade imposed on Sanaa airport and the rest of the land and seaports, and oblige the other party to implement the rest of the provisions of the Sweden agreement.
