FM receives a copy of the credentials of Ambassador of Republic of Iran

Foreign Minister Eng. Hisham Sharaf Abdullah, received today a copy of the credentials
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran , Mr. Hassan Erlo,
to the Republic of Yemen.

During the meeting, Foreign Minister welcomed the Iranian ambassador, wishing him success in his duties.

And he praised the Iran’s position calling for an end to the aggression and siege imposed on Yemen, which is appreciated by the Yemeni people.

Foreign Minister expressed his aspiration to enhance bilateral relations between the two countries and the two brotherly peoples in various fields.

He affirmed the Ministry’s ’s readiness to provide all necessary facilities to the Iranian ambassador to perform his duties in the service of the distinguished relations between the two brotherly countries.

For his part, Ambassador Airlo expressed his happiness with his appointment in Yemen, stressing that Iran will exert effort to achieve peace in Yemen and end the suffering of the Yemeni people.

The meeting was attended by Head of the Protocol Department, Ambassador Abdul Ghani Al-Saeedi, and Deputy Head of Minister’s Office Department, Ambassador Waheed Al-Shami.
