Training course for mine and cluster bomb awareness in Hodeidah
The Director of the Executive Center for Mine Action, Brigadier General, Ali Abdullah Safra, explained that the US-Saudi aggression intensified its air strikes on various Yemeni governorates, using internationally banned weapons in its operations that targeted populated areas.
During inaugurating the training course for mine and cluster bomb awareness in Hodeidah, the Brigadier General, Safra, confirmed that one 1050 airstrikes were monitored in which cluster bombs were used in various regions and governorates, which endangers the lives of civilians, especially in rural areas with difficult mountainous terrain.
He pointed out that the US-Saudi aggression and its paid-mercenaries deliberately planted mines in different places and randomly, which makes them like time bombs that claim the lives of many innocent people.
