STC accuses Turkey of military intervention in Yemen
A leader in the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council STC) militia on Tuesday accused Turkey of military intervention in Yemen.
Mansour Saleh, deputy head of the so-called media department of the STC, said that Ankara was smuggling weapons to the Islah party and providing it with advanced drones, explaining that the drones launched its reconnaissance and combat operations in last September.
He added that the Turkish officers entered Yemen under the cover of the humanitarian work to train the Islah militants on the use of drones and thermal rockets.
Saleh also pointed out that Islah established the Qatari-Turkish supported training camps and smuggled weapons coming from Ankara.
The SRC militia were inflicted heavy casualties, including commanders, in airstrikes carried out by a drone plane three days ago.
