Industry and Commerce Bureau closes five restaurants and bakeries in Taiz
The Office of Industry and Trade in Taiz governorate closed five restaurants and bakeries in the districts of Al-Taiziyah and Sala due to price gouging.
The director of the Industrial and Trade Bureau in the governorate, Abd al-Hadi Radman, explained to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the field teams of the office closed a restaurant, a buffet, and three bakeries due to price manipulation during the inspection and control campaign carried out by the office on the markets.
He stressed that the campaign continues its efforts with wide societal support and has achieved positive results in controlling traders who violate official prices and commercial fraud and refer them to legal procedures.
