Cleaning sector: 18 tons of waste will cause an environmental disaster due to blockade on fuel

The cleaning sector in the capital, Sana’a, warned of stopping all cleaning equipment of working, explaining that the transfer of two thousand tons of waste from inside the capital city will also stop.

It indicated that 18 tons of medical and hazardous waste are transported from the Capital Municipality, and stopping its transportation will cause a major environmental disaster.

The cleaning sector explained that it has no stocks left except for the coming hours only, stressing that the United Nations is responsible for the blockade.
