Al-Thawra Hospital Authority, in Hodeidah, warns of stopping medical and curative services
Al-Thawra General Hospital Authority in Hodeidah governorate confirmed that the lack of oil products has led to catastrophic that threaten the continuity of providing health and treatment services to citizens.
In a statement, the authority stated that the lack of oil derivatives caused ambulances, emergency calls, and shifts to stop working, and the inability of consultants, doctors, and technicians to reach hospitals and health centers in general.
The statement indicated that preventing the entry of oil derivatives by the aggression coalition prevented many patients from reaching hospitals to obtain emergency and medical services.
It also confirmed the consequent rise in death rates and the occurrence of medical complications, pointing to the lack of electricity on the hotline due to the lack of necessary diesel to operate the generating station.
The statement considered the lack of oil products, complete paralysis of the medical sector, inevitable death, and permanent complications of disease cases.
