Vigils held in many districts of Hodeidah to reject the ongoing siege
On Friday, several protests rallies were held in Hodeidah governorate to denounce maritime piracy and the continued detention of oil derivative ships by the US-Saudi aggression coalition against the Yemeni people.
The participants carried slogans denouncing the silence of the international community about the war crimes that the Yemeni people are exposed to and demanding an end to the aggression, the lifting of the blockade and the launch of the detained oil derivative ships.
They deplored the flawed international position, and blamed the United Nations and the Security Council for the crimes and violations committed by the US-Saudi aggression against the Yemeni people six years ago.
They indicated that the violations of the aggression and its arbitrary practices by tightening the siege and the persistent detention of fuel ships will only increase the Yemeni people with determination.
They also affirmed the adherence to the faith identity and the strengthening of cohesion and alignment to defend the homeland, its security, stability, sovereignty and independence.
The participants confirmed the continuation of steadfastness in the face of aggression and supplying the fronts with men, money and convoys to achieve victory.
The statements issued by the protests confirmed the continued steadfastness of the people of Hodeidah and the support of the army and the popular committees, to confront the forces of aggression and mercenaries.
