Ministry of Human Rights releases its sixth report on violations and crimes of aggression
The Ministry of Human Rights has released its sixth official report on the violations and crimes of the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression, entitled “Aggression against Yemen is war crimes and international complicity.”
In a press conference held today in Sana’a, the Ministry of Human Rights stated that the coalition of aggression deliberately starved civilians, as 16.2 million people became food insecure, and it caused the deprivation of more than 1.25 million employees of their salaries, as well as the poverty rate, rose to 85% and the unemployment rate to more than 65%.
The report added that the aggression launched tens of thousands of military attacks that killed and wounded 43,582 citizens, including 7,999 children and 5,184 women, caused the displacement of 4,509,328 citizens.
It pointed out that the aggression targeted 13,742 fields, warehouses, and agricultural lands, and caused the death of 441,605 livestock and more than 30 Arab horses, and burned 41,610 beehives.
The report confirmed that the aggression destroyed more than 679 supermarkets, 11,154 shops, 523 health facilities, and burned 92 ambulances, making more than 19.7 million people in need of health care, in addition to destroying 3,784 educational facilities and camping 4,435,409 students to continue their education, as well as destroying 65 technical institutes.
According to the report, the aggression destroyed 349 production factories and 5 silos, 539 establishments and an electricity network, killed 383 workers therein, as well as 2,072 facilities and a communications network, killing 69 employees, and destroyed 767 fuel and gas stations, detained dozens of ships and destroyed 14 seaports, as well as 9 civilian airports and 4 civil aircraft.
The report indicated that the aggression coalition destroyed more than 47 media institutions and more than 28 radio transmission centers, duplicated satellite channels, closed and stopped Yemeni channels, and killed journalists with their families by bombing their homes and while they were performing their work.
It also destroyed 49 judicial facilities and targeted 48 homes of judges and employees in the judiciary and killed 18 judges and 40 administrative employees.
The report said that the aggression coalition destroyed 132 sports facilities, 4,370 roads, and bridges, as well as 2,034 public facilities for citizens’ services, also destroyed 11 branches of the Social Welfare Fund, 1,348 mosques, and prevented Yemenis from performing Hajj, and its mercenaries detonated several religious landmarks, as the aggression destroyed 417 archaeological sites and historical monuments, and 366 tourist facilities destroyed.
It added that the aggression destroyed 349 production factories and 5 silos, as well as 539 facilities and an electricity network, and 383 workers were killed in them, as well as 2,072 facilities and a communications network, in which 69 employees were killed.
The report also revealed the aggression’s use of high-explosive cluster and vacuum bombs with chemical and toxic materials, amounting to more than 3,179. A bomb killed thousands in 11 provinces
The Ministry of Human Rights confirmed that the aggression coalition violated the rights of more than 8,100 prisoners with various types of psychological and physical torture.
