Summer centers in the capital, Sanaa, launch their activities
The activities of the summer centers for the year 1442 AH launched, on Monday, in the directorates of the Capital Sana’a.
The Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for the Training Sector, Ahmed Abdel Qader, and the Director of the Education Office in the Capital, Ziad Al-Rafiq, were briefed on the summer activities at the Badr Practical Center and the Mohammed Ismail School in the Al-Sabeen district.
Al-Rafiq stressed the importance of summer centers in consolidating the identity of faith, immunizing young people and youth from false cultures, and developing their knowledge and capabilities in the religious, scientific, cultural and sports fields.
He called on parents to push their children to join the summer centers to use their spare time in a way that benefits them and society.
For his part, the director of the Holy Quran Education Department at the office, Abdullah Samina, indicated that summer centers are being set up within the framework of the Ministry of Education’s plan to create a generation armed with Quranic science and culture.
He pointed out that the scientific, cultural and sports programs and activities in the summer centers come at the forefront of memorizing the Noble Qur’an and Islamic Sciences.
The inauguration was attended by a member of the supervisory office in the secretariat, Abdul Qadir al-Mahdi, deputy director of the education office, Abdul Karim al-Dahak, and the director of the educational district in al-Sabeen, Dr. Mohammed al-Shami, and activities Khaled al-Uqbi.
