Minister of Interior directs governorates’ security to receive citizens’ complaints
The Minister of Interior, Major General Abdul Karim Amir Al-Din Al-Houthi, directed the provincial security directors to allocate a full-time day per week to receive citizens’ complaints and listen to them directly.
At the conclusion of a 4-day workshop with the participation of the security directors of the capital and the governorates, the Minister of Interior stressed the importance of the periodic arrival of provincial security directors to the directorates, police stations and security points to inspect and follow up officers and individuals and evaluate their performance.
He pointed to the need to strengthen the relationship with the community, gain its trust and provide a model in word and deed, stressing the importance of improving the security performance of directorates, police stations and security points.
He urged the Minister of Interior to commit to institutional work and embody the concept of teamwork, and to hold regular regular meetings at all levels.
He also pointed out the importance of educating and qualifying officers and individuals in providing them a model and role model.
