Mahra tribes reject any foreign presence and violation of national sovereignty
Tribes and sheikhs of Mahra affirmed on Thursday their categorical rejection of the presence of any foreign forces in the province.
In a statement, which issued by the Committee for the Peaceful Sit-in of the province, confirmed that the arrival of British forces to Mahra under the pretext of protecting marine waters is one of the conspiracy schemes to control Yemen’s wealth, and a flagrant violation of national sovereignty.
In this regard, Mahra governor, Al-Qutbi, Ali Hussein Al-Farji, explained that the British forces that arrived in the governorate aim to control strategic sites with the help and coordination with the Saudi-Emirati occupation.
Al-Farji called on all free people and factions opposed to foreign presence in Mahra, to strengthen unity and cohesion and stand firmly against these conspiracies.
He warned of the conspiratorial plans of the Saudi-led aggression countries and their militias targeting the social fabric of the province’s sons, and the security, sovereignty and independence of Yemen.
The governor praised the stances of the people of Mahra in the face of aggressive projects schemes in the province.
