PM discusses with Planning Minister classification of food security in Yemen

The Prime Minister, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor, discussed on Saturday with Minister of Planning and Development, Abdulaziz Al-Kumaim, the phased classification of food security in the Republic of Yemen and the Ministry’s vital role in this aspect.

The meeting touched on the level of implementation of externally-funded projects and the impact of “Covid-19” pandemic on the international financing of projects and the failure of a number of external financing programs.

The ministry’s activity and the most prominent tasks accomplished in the context of its exercise of its planning and development function were reviewed in the meeting.

At the meeting, the Prime Minister valued the various efforts and activities undertaken by the Ministry of Planning and Development during this exceptional period.
