The Local Water Corporation warns of health disasters of the lack of oil derivatives
The Local Corporation for Water and Sanitation in Sana’a renewed the warning of an environmental and health disaster as a result of the maritime piracy of the forces of US-Saudi aggression led by America and their continued detention of oil derivatives ships.
A protest organized by the Corporation in front of the United Nations office in Sana’a, in cooperation with the Yemeni Oil Company, indicated that the detention of fuel ships will lead to the suspension of pumping approximately 1,10 thousand cubic meters of water from 70 wells in the Amanat Al-Asimah only.
A statement issued by the protest held the United Nations fully responsible for its condoning and silence regarding the detention of fuel ships, as well as what will happen to the conditions of the residents of the capital, Sana’a.
The statement called for urgent intervention to release the detained oil derivatives ships and allow them to enter the port of Hodeidah and not to detain them in the future, stressing the need to neutralize the humanitarian file, which contributes to alleviating the suffering of the Yemeni people.
Meanwhile, the Yemeni Oil Company’s statement renewed the demand to stop maritime piracy and the arbitrary practices of the countries of the US-Saudi aggression coalition and their continued detention of fuel ships.
The company’s employees held the US-Saudi aggression responsible for the catastrophic consequences of the continuation of piracy on fuel ships and the halt and collapse of the service sectors.
And they called on the free people of the world, to put pressure to stop the maritime piracy on the oil derivatives ships and to quickly release the detained ships.
The Executive Director of the Oil Company, Ammar Al-Adrai, explained that the Red Sea pirates are still preventing the entry of fuel ships for the Yemeni people, and that oil derivatives ships have not yet been allowed to enter the port of Hodeidah.
