The Ministry of Foreign Affairs Condemns The Policy of The Security Council
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Salvation condemned the policy taken by the Security Council in dealing with the issue of peace and war in Yemen.
In a statement, the Ministry confirmed that the Security Council did not provide in its latest statement evidence of any positive development in its policies towards the grievances of the Yemeni people, who have been facing an illegal and unjustified war of aggression for nearly seven years.
The statement indicated that it is unfortunate that the Security Council continues to condemn the legitimate right of the Yemeni people to defend themselves and the sovereignty of their country, while ignoring the war crimes against humanity that they are being subjected to and systematic hostile practices by the countries of aggression. The crimes also include air raids on Yemeni territory on a daily basis, in addition to the imposed and continuous siege imposed by the coalition against the Yemeni people and depriving them of their most basic natural and legitimate rights, including preventing patients from traveling for treatment.
