Yemeni President meets Head of National Center for Documents
Quting from YPA, President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, met on Monday with Head of the National Center for Documents in the Presidency of the Republic, Judge Ali Abu Al-Regal.
During the meeting, they discussed the work flow at the center and its role in documenting information, press archives, photos, special documents, international agreements and other documents since the Ottoman era.
President Al-Mashat stressed that the Center’s importance lies in the fact that it represents a national memory and a reference for the researcher in Yemeni history throughout the ages.
He pointed to the importance of the documents in planning for the future and starting from their contents, which represent historical, analytical and valuable material in clarifying political, social and cultural variables and transformations.
President Al-Mashat praised the great efforts made by Judge Ali Abu Al-Regal over the decades in serving the country in various positions with honor and integrity.
