The State Department Confirms that the US Administration’s Noise about Yemen Is an Open Attempt to Mislead its Crimes

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that the US administration’s fabricated noise and false claim of working to achieve peace in Yemen are miserable attempts to mislead American and international public opinion and an open coverage of its crimes and systematic terrorism against Yemen.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement, “The statements and positions issued by a number of officials in the US administration are characterized by duplicity, as they claim to be keen to stop the war in Yemen and end the suffering of Yemenis.”
The statement pointed out that at the same time, the US administration is pursuing unjust hostile policies targeting Yemen’s land and people, the latest of which is statements calling for internal fighting between Yemenis.

The statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs pointed to the role of the US administration in providing direct sponsorship and support to the coalition of aggression, which was announced from the US capital, Washington, the launch of its aggressive war against the Yemeni people, which has been going on for seven years.

The statement touched on the crimes committed by the US in Yemen, using the means of economic war, the policy of starvation, the blockade of outlets, and the deployment of terrorist and radical elements inside Yemeni territory.
The statement deplored the flagrant contradiction between the US administration’s claims and false calls for peace in Yemen on the one hand, and its recent actions, positions and statements, directed and supportive of the continuation of the military aggression and the deadly siege on the Yemeni people on the other hand.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on Washington to review its positions towards the Yemeni people and advance its policies in line with humanitarian, moral and legal principles and responsibilities that are committed to the lofty goal of strengthening international peace and security, by accommodating the basic requirements to support Sana’a’s efforts and sincere endeavors to build a true comprehensive and lasting peace for Yemenis, the region and the world.

The statement pointed out that the international community can only acknowledge the fact that Sanaa was and still is the active and serious party in extending the hand of peace and providing initiatives and visions supporting peace opportunities and guarantors of achieving stability and security and consolidating their foundations in the region.
