The Supreme Committee for Celebrations Approves the Final Arrangements for the Independence Day Celebration
The Supreme Committee for Celebrations and Occasions, in its meeting today, Tuesday, headed by Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor, approved the final arrangements for the speech ceremony for the 54th Independence Day, November 30, which will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, in Sana’a.
The committee stressed the great national dimensions of this occasion and its symbolism, whose moral and national value is growing in light of the aggression, siege and occupation of part of its lands by Gulf hands and planed by the Western Zionist project that targets the security of the region and the present and future of its peoples to serve their projects, and to secure the usurping Zionist enemy of the Palestinian lands.
The committee pointed out that the Yemeni people, who fiercely resisted all the colonial countries that attacked them and tried to subjugate them throughout history, are able to end and bury the dreams, projects and schemes of the aggressors, the new occupiers and their mercenaries who have been receiving painful blows from the Yemeni people for seven years, and who will continue to confront them with full force to purify the Yemeni land of their abomination.
The committee expressed its congratulations to the leader of the revolution, Sayyed. Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, the head of the Supreme Political Council, Field Marshal Mahdi al-Mashat and members of the Political Council, and through them to the masses of the proud Yemeni people on this important national occasion in the contemporary history of Yemen.
