The Leader: The Giving of Martyrs Is the Greatest

Sayyed. Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi said that the giving of the martyrs is the highest giving for the sake of God and in support of their nation, which was met by God’s wide generosity and its outcomes were independence and freedom.

During his speech today, Saturday, on the anniversary of the martyr 1443 AH, the Leader said that the anniversary of the martyr is a glorious occasion that our people revive every year with many cultural and charitable activities, expressing awareness of the significance of this occasion.

Sayyed. Abdul-Malik considered reviving this occasion giving the moral and human value of martyrdom and martyrs and embodying faith affiliation among the priorities, actions and commitment of the Yemeni people.He noted that the martyr’s memorial event lasts for a week and is interspersed with fruitful activities at the educational, mobilization and charitable levels.

The Leader of the Revolution also called on for taking care of the families of the martyrs at the popular and official level.

Sayyed stressed the importance of commemorating the activities of this anniversary and the continual support for the fronts.

“What is offered to the families of the martyrs, officially and popularly, is not a price for their giving, as the only price of their giving is Allah’s pleasure and heaven,” Sayyed said.

The Leader of the Revolution added: “Our emerging generation today is a generation that loves martyrdom, and therefore it is a free generation that is resistant to enslavement and is resistant to humiliation and surrender.”

He pointed out that the value of martyrdom lies in that it enhances the state of patience and steadfastness, regardless of challenges.
