The Customs Authority Denies the Aggression’s Allegations about Al-Sawadiya Customs
The Customs Authority denied what was stated in the statement of the coalition of aggression regarding the creation of a customs center in Al-Sawadiya in Al-Bayda and using it for military actions.
The authority said in a statement that Al-Sawadiya Customs is an old customs yard that was established in mid-2019, and the United Nations office in Sana’a was informed at the time.
It stated that the United Nations is informed when creating or resuming work at any customs site to avoid being targeted by the coalition of aggression.
The authority condemned and denounced the aggression’s threats to target Al-Sawadiya customs, as it is one of the civilian objects whose targeting is prohibited by international laws and covenants.
It warned of the catastrophic consequences for lives and public and private property if the aggression targeted Al-Sawadiya customs.
It emphasized that Al-Sawadiya Customs is used for purely city purposes in a way that serves Yemeni society in all its categories.
It called on the United Nations and all human rights, legal and media institutions and organizations to go to Al-Sawadiya Customs and expose the allegations of the aggression.
