Foreign Ministry: What The Aggression Presents regarding Hodeidah Ports, Ras Issa Bankrupt , False Media Fabrication

Quting from almasirah, an official source in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its strong condemnation of the attempts of the US-Saudi aggression to escalate, through the vulgar and cheap methods that exposed the goals that were used in targeting Sana’a International Airport.
“The farcical attempts to justify the aggression’s targeting of Yemeni ports are nothing more than a cheap cinematic move that shows the world the catastrophic failure that Saudi Arabia is experiencing in its military aggression against the Yemeni people,” the source said in a statement to Saba News Agency.

The source explained that what was presented by the spokesman of the aggression Turki al-Maliki, yesterday afternoon, is a media fabrication that is poorly prepared and directed.

“It does not live up to the capabilities of the international intelligence services,” he said. “These fabrications will undoubtedly be exposed by the satellites of many countries that monitor the sea and land movements in the areas of operations, which the coalition spokesman is talking about in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden.”

He pointed out that Saudi Arabia realizes that it is the party and the main reason for turning the Red Sea and Bab El-Mandeb region into a field of military operations through its aggression, which began eight years ago, and its continuous operations in transferring weapons and combat equipment to its militias using the Red Sea, occupying many Yemeni islands, and targeting civilian objects and citizens along the Yemeni coast.

“Saudi Arabia is carrying out many actions in violation of international law and the sovereignty of countries in moving and using the sea straits, and turning the Bab El-Mandeb Strait into a field of war operations,” the source added.

The source denied all the accusations made by the spokesman of the aggression, which relied on a poor and unreliable presentation, in a blurry and confused manner that did not meet the well-known Saudi allies of the air and naval intelligence capabilities. “The main objective of this presentation was to show the defensive forces of Sana’a as threatening the security of the Red Sea.”

He also stressed that Sana’a is the one who maintains the security of maritime navigation and the freedom of navigation in the vicinity of its coasts, as it is linked to the import of Yemen’s needs of commercial goods, fuel, and food aid for the benefit of the Yemeni people.

“The current situation of the military naval operations area along the Yemeni coast shows and confirms the contribution of these targets directly or indirectly to the military aggression against Yemen, which legitimizes and allows the Sana’a Defense Forces to lift the

of these targets, and consider them legitimate military targets, used by Saudi Arabia and its allies within the framework of its aggression against Yemen,”  the source said referring to the Emirati ship, Rawabi, and other ships that were within the scope of the operations of the Sana’a Defense Forces.

The source stated that Sana’a will address the Security Council and the international community with all the details and clarification on the Saudi escalation. He pointed to Saudi Arabia and its allies’ obsession of Iran and its naval and missile capabilities through the continuation of defamation and accusations against Iran, and the attempt to use Sana’a as a cover for these campaigns.

“Saudi Arabia is trying to show Sana’a Defense Forces as a source of danger and disturbance to maritime navigation, however, Saudi Arabia and its allies are the direct danger and those who threaten maritime security in that important and sensitive region with their suspicious actions and movements,” he added.

He stressed that Saudi Arabia and its allies want to move freely in the air, lands and coasts of Yemen so that they practice all violations of international laws and the controls of other countries’ sovereignty over its waters and coasts, and they do not want to find someone to deter them from their heinous actions.

“Saudi Arabia and its allies are trying – through their media – to appear as a state of peace, while the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Western countries and the United States behind it are the main reason for creating all the problems and abuses, and turning the Red Sea and Bab El-Mandeb Strait into a potential battlefield,” the source concluded. “With the US-Saudi moves, the situation will explode in the Arab Island and Gulf region, by the remarkable presence of these countries’ forces and their ongoing naval maneuvers along the coast of the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.”

On January 3, the spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces said the Yemeni Forces had managed to seize a UAE-flagged vessel off the port of Hodeidah, carrying military equipment and engaging in hostile acts.

Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e stated that the Yemeni forces captured the vessel after it trespassed into Yemen’s territorial waters and was acting against the security and stability of the country. He added that the ship was loaded with various munitions.

After the great success in seizing the Emirati vessel, the US-Saudi aggression spokesman Brigadier General Turki al-Malki claimed on Saturday that the Yemeni forces are using two ports as military bases and that would turn them into legitimate military targets

Saudi Arabia, backed by the United States and regional

launched the war on Yemen in March 2015, with the goal of bringing the government of former Yemeni president Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi back to power.

The war has left hundreds of thousands of Yemenis dead and displaced millions more. It has also destroyed Yemen’s infrastructure and spread famine and infectious diseases there.

Despite heavily-armed Saudi Arabia’s incessant bombardment of the impoverished country, the Yemeni armed forces and the Popular Committees have grown steadily in strength against the Saudi-led invaders and left Riyadh and its allies bogged down in the country.
