Military spokesman reveals type of weapons used in struck the depth of UAE

Yemeni Armed Forces Spokesman Brigadier General Yehya Sarie has revealed more details about the type of weapons that the army forces used in the Operation “Hurricane Yemen”, which targeting vital and important sites inside the territory of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

In a brief statement, Brigadier General Yehya Sarie said that the missiles used in Operation “Hurricane Yemen” were four Quds-2-type winged missiles targeted the oil refinery of al-Musaffah, and Abu Dhabi Airport, while Zolfiqar-type ballistic missile was used in the operation that targeted Dubai Airport.

“The Propelled Air Force targeted several sensitive and important targets, in addition to the previous targets, using Sammad-3 drones,” he added.

On Monday night, the Yemeni army announced the implementation of Operation Yemen Hurricane in the depth of the Emirati territories, in response to ongoing military escalation by the US-backed Saudi-Emirati coalition against Yemen.

In a statement, the Armed Forces Spokesman, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, said that the armed forces carried out a qualitative and successful military operation targeting the Dubai and Abu Dhabi airports, the Musaffah oil refinery in Abu Dhabi, and a number of important and sensitive Emirati sites and facilities.

He pointed out that the military operation was carried out with five winged and ballistic missiles and a large number of drones, stressing that the operation successfully achieved its goals.

Brigadier-General Saree said, “We will not hesitate to expand the goals bank to include more important sites and facilities during the coming period,” stressing that the armed forces declare that the UAE is an unsafe state as long as its aggressive escalation against Yemen continues.
