Yemeni Officials Inaugurate the Project to Improve Livelihoods , Strengthen Resilience in Saada

Today, Wednesday, Saada governorate launched a project to improve livelihoods and enhance the resilience of poor communities, which is implemented by  “Al Tadamun” Foundation, with funding from the International “Vision of Hope” organization.

At the inauguration, the governor of Saada, Muhammad Jaber Awad, pointed out the importance of the project to improve the living conditions of the target groups.

Governor Awad stressed the governorate’s need for such sustainable projects in construction, development and capacity building.

For his part, the Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, Abdul Mohsen Tawoos, praised the role of the German government in supporting such development projects, pointing out the importance of concerted efforts of all to implement the project and achieve its objectives.

In turn, the Governorate’s Undersecretary for Humanitarian Affairs, Muhammad Hussein Beidan, explained that the project aims to improve livelihoods and strengthen resilience in the areas of energy, agriculture, infrastructure, capacity building, and promote peace and social cohesion.
