A Locomotive Driver Shot Dead by the “Security Belt” Militia In Yafa’ ,Lahj
A citizen was killed, on Tuesday, by the UAE-backed “Security Belt” militia in Yafa area of Lahj governorate, which is under the control of the forces of aggression.
And local sources reported that the mercenary in the “security belt” Youssef Abdel Qader Al-Qemli shot a locomotive driver named “Khaled Abdel Hamid” at a checkpoint in Yafa area, killing him and fleeing.
The sources indicated that the incident followed a dispute after the victim refused to pay a levy to the checkpoint personnel.
The incident comes in light of the continuation of the intermittent, looting and killing operations targeting drivers and travelers in Lahj governorate by the aggression militias, the latest of which was in early March, when a truck driver named “Mohammed Omar Al-Azazi” was shot dead by militias in the Al-Sumaita area of Tur Al Baha district.
During the past year 2021, Tur Al-Baha witnessed killing and looting operations targeting travelers, the most prominent of which was the issue that raised public opinion last September, where the young “Abdul Malik Al-Sanabani” – the Yemeni expatriate in America – was killed and $ 15,000 looted in his possession by the aggression militias at one of the points on his way through Aden airport, heading to his hometown in Dhamar governorate
