Anti-aggression Coalition parties: May 22 is one of the values rooted in Yemen’s history
The Parties Coalition and Political Anti-aggression Forces confirmed on Saturday that the National Day of the Republic of Yemen 22 May represents one of the most significant values and meanings rooted in the identity and history of the Yemeni people.
In a statement the Coalition noted that this occasion is an inspiration for the right national path that imposes on all people to overcome differences to achieve greater alignment and cohesion in the face of challenges, especially at this challenging time in Yemeni history, and in the intensification of the projects and conspiracies of the invaders and aggressors against the homeland and its unity.
The statement paid tribute to the heroes of the army and people’s committees on the various fronts, valuing the steadfastness of the Yemeni people in the face of the blockade, the economy, and media war and the plots of the aggression coalition and its mercenaries.
The statement called for further pressure on the United Nations to compel the Coalition of Aggression to implement all humanitarian armistice clauses, open crossings and compensate for the number and destinations of ships and flights, and to link any endeavors to extend the armistice to the serious handling of the humanitarian file with all its decisions without fragmentation, including the obligation of aggression and its mercenary disbursement of the salaries of all State employees and ensuring its sustainable disbursement.
He pointed out that the continuing violations of the aggression coalition and the indulgence of the United Nations to carry out its duty threaten the chances of an extension of the armistice and undermine the credibility of the United Nations and its envoy, affirming the permanent and unwavering attitude towards a just and honorable peace that enhances Yemen’s sovereignty and independence.
