Ministry of Education condemns mercenaries’ suspension of the educational process in Ma’rib
The Ministry of Education in Sana’a condemned the action of the so-called “Education Office” in Marib province, loyal to the Saudi-led coalition, to stop the educational process in a number of the province’s districts.
In a statement it issued today, the Ministry stressed that “this irresponsible behavior confirms that the aggression mercenaries follow a systematic policy of the occupation coalition authorities to target the educational process and create a generation of ignorant, illiterate and powerless people.”
The statement explained that “the aggression coalition and its mercenaries deliberately do this for the purposes of killing minds in preparation for turning young people and youth into fuel for their absurd wars and defending the regimes of the Saudi and Emirate aggression.”
In the statement, the Ministry of Education appealed to all international, local and human rights organizations to quickly rescue Yemeni children in the coalition-occupied provinces from violations and arbitrary measures committed by the mercenaries against them, the latest of which was depriving them of the education.
